NOW this is getting sort of intense.
We now have a plethora of system FAILURES available!

When real airline pilots take their twice-annual checks in the multi-million dollar full-motion simulators, the instructors toss dozens of simulated system failures at them to see if they can handle it… This is known to make simulator training much harder than flying the real airplane on almost any normal day.

Now, we are introducing these failures into X-Plane for the various iDevices. You can choose to have failures such as flight-control failures, engine failures, landing gear failures, tire blowouts, brake failures, and bird strikes happen instantly, or randomly in the near future. (Of course, bird-strikes may cascade into additional failures).

Now, with X-Plane 9.70, you can start training failures like the pros…. IF you can handle it.
